Helichrysum bracteatum ‘White’
I grew these from seed this year for the first time. I didn’t get many that survived to fully grown, but those that did were stunning. These will definitely be making a reappearance in the beds next year.
This shot was taken early morning with low, natural light.

I live with my husband and whippet, Twiglet, in a small village in Northamptonshire. Originally from Watford in Hertfordshire where I still spend a lot of my time.
I paint mainly watercolours of wildlife in a fairly loose style, but enjoy dabbling and experimenting with other medium so expect to see the occasional something different being posted or even up for sale.
Orginal paintings often go up for sale throughout the year, if you see something you’re interested that’s not marked as for sale please feel free to reach out.
