Too wet to do what I wanted to do, so took the camera out this morning instead to capture some images of the raindrops.
It may not have been the initial plan for my day, but there’s a few lovely images in the set – these are just some of them. Goes to show that even a rainy day can be productive.
The day wasn’t a washout after all.
Although it is now raining again – I guess I’ll have to sit on the sofa and watch a movie or something now 🙂

I live with my husband and whippet, Twiglet, in a small village in Northamptonshire. Originally from Watford in Hertfordshire where I still spend a lot of my time.
I paint mainly watercolours of wildlife in a fairly loose style, but enjoy dabbling and experimenting with other medium so expect to see the occasional something different being posted or even up for sale.
Orginal paintings often go up for sale throughout the year, if you see something you’re interested that’s not marked as for sale please feel free to reach out.

They are great shots, maybe it was a good thing it rained!

Thanks again. I have to admit, I was glad not to be able to mow the lawn and spend some time with my camera instead!
